This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed before attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. It is the cheapest course around cause you don't have to miss a day's work to attend it. This course is great for employers too that don't want to shut down production and still have to run their day to day operations while providing compliance training to workers. (provides the same card as in-class experience.
Online + Classroom
This format is ideal for participants looking to maximize learning and productivity at the same time, it is self-paced and the training can be completed at your speed. The online and classroom training option provides greater convenience and the content is equivalent to a traditional course with less time spent in a classroom.
Online content is accessed via the Red Cross Learning Center which will be emailed to you after registering for the class.
Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. Allow 2 hours for the hands-on skill portion in the classroom. Even though some of you may only need adults we feel it is worth the extra 45 minutes to learn child and infant. The certification costs are the same and the extra certification could come in handy for you at work, but more importantly, we all have children in our families.
Upon successful completion of the online course PRINT the completion document and bring it to the skills, hands-on, course and you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
